Maybe it isn’t your desire to increase your pledge, and yet you want to be part of what is happening as we grow our budget, and enlarge the footprint of our new facilities—another creative idea that has surfaced is the opportunity to fund some “big ticket items.”  Take a deep breath—these are some early raw numbers, but some may see these as an opportunity to do something really special as a memorial for a loved one:

• A Sunday school class     $30,000

• A parking space     $2,000

• A tree     $1,000 and $500

• The vestibule/entry     $40,000

What incredible gifts these represent and would allow us to increase our facilities as any step forward with special gifts as we realize this dream.

There may be others as we go forward, but this provides some food for thought as we all seek to work together to increase the ministry and witness of this congregation.  God may speak to you through the opportunity of these special gifts.
