SECOND SUNDAY OF ADVENT
The Elders' next meeting is scheduled for Sunday, December 8th. It starts at 10 a.m.
essage: The Incarnation of Good News: PEACE (Mark 4:35-39) – In Jesus Christ, we see “peace” with a human face. Jesus is the “peace” who brings calm to the turbulence of life. And since Jesus is the Incarnation of “peace” in our lives, you and I are inspired to be an incarnation of “peace” for those in our neighborhood, i.e., our world of experience.
At our December 8th Church Board Meeting, a vote for approval will be made for a few amendments to our Church Constitution. If approved by the Church Board, it will be presented to the Congregation for approval.
The Disciples Women's meeting for December will be Monday, December 9th at the church beginning at 10:00 am. There will be fellowship Pot Luck lunch and gift exchange. We are asking everyone to bring their favorite side dish or dessert and one small gift for someone at the meeting. Gifts should be no more than $10.00 each. We hope all women of the church who can will join us!
