Disciples Women are once again providing needed items for the Agape Resource and Assistance Center. At this time the items needed are:
Paper Towels, Scent Free Liquid Laundry Soap (50 to 60 loads each) and Liquid Hand Soap (does not need to be antibacterial). If anyone in the church would like to provide any of these items, we will be collecting for the next two weeks. Thank you for your help and your support.
You can bring your donation during the church office hours (Monday & Thursday, 9am-2pm). Thank you!
Disciples Women are also working hand in hand with Dacey Lee's Girl Scout Silver Award Outreach Project. Here's Dacey's letter:
Hello Mrs. Conner and Mrs. Krupski,
I am working on my Girl Scout Silver Award Project which is to make Valentine Kindness Gifts for twenty-five ladies at the Agape House. I have been collecting and making special items for these but there are still some items I need. If your group and/or the church would be willing to assist with this community outreach these are the items I still need by January 25:
25 Lip Glosses
25 Bottles of Red Nail Polish
25 Pairs of Valentines and/or Red and Pink Cozy Socks
25 Fingernail Files
Monetary Donations for Girl Scout Cookies to include in gifts ($5/box)
Thank you for any help that you may be able to provide. If you are interested, at the church, I may put an envelope for any monetary donations and a box for gift Items on the list. I will also leave tax deductible receipts for those who participate.
Thank you so much,
